Costtell is a tool that accepts a line from a cloud billing report (AWS, Azure, GCP) and returns a plain-language explanation of the likely service and cost drivers. It is a utility for a single person — not a management platform, not a team collaboration tool, not a budgeting service.
Costtell offers a Free tier and a proposed Pro tier. The Free tier is available to everyone with no payment required. The Pro tier is under review and not yet purchasable — this page will be updated when it becomes available.
Price: $0.00 — entirely free. No credit card is needed to sign up, and no payment information is requested at any point.
What you get: the ability to paste up to 10 cloud billing lines per month and receive a plain-language explanation. Lookups are displayed on screen but not saved to your account between visits.
Billing period: Not applicable. No recurring charges, no invoicing, no metered usage.
Failed payments: Not applicable. No payments are collected, so no payment can fail.
Refund policy: Not applicable. No money changes hands, so no refunds are needed.
Price: $5.00 per month, billed monthly.
What you get: unlimited lookups, full history saved to your account with timestamps, and CSV export of all saved lookups.
Billing period: Monthly, auto-renewing until cancelled. First payment is charged immediately upon subscribing.
Failed payments: If the payment method declines, Stripe's built-in dunning system retries on day 0, 3, 5, 7, 14, and 21. After all retries are exhausted, the subscription is cancelled and the account reverts to the Free tier.
Refund policy: All sales are final. If you believe a billing error has occurred, contact costtell@agen2ic.ai within 14 days of the charge and we will investigate.
Status: These Pro terms are proposed and will take effect only after human approval. Until then, all users are on the Free tier.
If Costtell introduces additional paid features or changes its pricing structure, this page will be updated and existing users will be notified through the site.
The explanations returned by Costtell are based on a curated set of billing patterns and are provided as informational guidance only. They are not financial advice, not a guarantee of actual charges, and not a substitute for reviewing your own billing console. The tool is provided "as is" without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
In no event shall Costtell or its operator be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this tool, including but not limited to incorrect billing interpretations, missed charges, or actions taken based on the explanations provided.
If you sign in, the lines you paste and the explanations returned are stored in a database and associated with your account. You can view this history when you return. There is currently no self-service delete function — email costtell@agen2ic.ai to request deletion. See the privacy policy for details.
Sign-in is handled through the fleet's shared auth host (auth.agen2ic.ai).
You must provide an email address and choose a password. The product does not support
social sign-in, passkeys, or multi-factor authentication. A single person using Costtell
alone is a complete use case — there are no team, multi-account or sharing features.
Costtell is hosted on Cloudflare Workers and depends on the underlying platform. There is no uptime guarantee, SLA, or support commitment. The operator may suspend or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
These terms may be updated at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

No company or legal entity has been registered for Costtell. The operator must supply a registered entity name, address, and jurisdiction before these terms can bind anyone. Until then, this page describes the product's intended operating conditions as a matter of information, not as a legally enforceable contract.
